NBN

The NBN and Your Lift

Depending on the type of NBN system being installed, you may only require the Emergency Phone Unit to be inspected/ adjusted, upgraded, or a Fixed Wireless Terminal (FWT) installed to replace the existing copper line.

To meet new Regulatory Compliance, Going Up recommends the installation of a Fixed Wireless Terminal. This will avoid any complications and ensure reliable operation of your Lift Emergency Phone line.

The Emergency Telephone line is a critical safety feature of your lift and must be operational at all times – even if there is a power failure. Each terminal includes a battery backup which has a standby time of up to six hours and talk time of up to 1&1/2 hours.
